About This Blog

This blog page began as a communication tool between students in my master's cohort when our blackboard page was taken down but we weren't finished with our discussions. It has, since, evolved into my personal blog page where I share my thoughts on current events, social media, technology, education, and other topics that move me to write about them. Feel free to browse and leave comments. Welcome! Photo by David Schrock

TED.com

I am so excited about the talks I have been listening to at TED.com. This is an amazing place where incredible doers and thinkers are gathering their collective and interdisciplinary knowledge in the form of "ideas worth sharing." I have been fascinated my the talks and the diversity that they represent. I have a friend who says that she sends her son to listen and her students at school. It makes me wonder if school could ever be place where sharing ideas is the norm. I'll keep you posted.
